The Heid was once home to the largest hat manufacturer in Philadelphia, the Frank P. Heid & Co. Hat Factory. E-Built was contracted by PDRC to install
1395 SF of green roof, 637 SF turf dog park, roof decking, and planters. Being 13 stories up provided unique challenges as well as the location of the building next to a school. The finished product speaks for itself and is a wonderful amenity for the building's guests. Located steps away from the convention center, the Heid provides breathtaking views of center city all while being surrounded by a lush green roof and seasonal planters.
